Classification of PTFE rods

- Jun 07, 2020-

Classification of PTFE rods:

1. PTFE rods with a diameter of 55 mm to 300 mm are processed by molding;

2. Teflon rods with a diameter of 10 mm to 50 mm are extruded and processed using suspended polytetrafluoroethylene resin;

3. PTFE rods with a diameter of 4 mm to 9 mm are made of dispersion polymerized polytetrafluoroethylene resin through paste pressing process;

Characteristics and uses of PTFE rod:

PTFE rods have good chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, anti-aging, and no adhesion to any objects. It can be used for gasket sealing and lubricating materials and insulating parts in corrosive media.
